About Us

European Directive: Silicon Chains is being forged by a three-person founding crew of retro-game lovers who never shook off their obsession with old-school charm. We're building a 3D isometric world drenched in that nostalgic pixel-flavored look — modern tools under the hood, vintage soul on the surface.

Right now, it’s just the three of us kicking this project into existence: modeling dystopian architecture, writing stories that probably worry our friends, and coding systems no sane person would attempt alone. But as the world grows, more creators will inevitably join the madness — artists, designers, musicians, anyone brave (or foolish) enough to dive in.

Every model, every script, every strange idea starts with us. No big studio machine, just passion, stubbornness, and a lot of beers. The rest will come naturally, one teammate at a time.

Meet the Team

Drunken Raccoon

Programmer, Writer

Portrait of Drunken Raccoon

Creator of the universe behind European Directive. A programmer obsessed with system design, a writer crafting stories no psychologist should ever read, and an artist with roughly the same relationship to sleep as a totalitarian regime has to free speech. Builds worlds out of code, pixels, and sarcasm. When not writing functions or dialogues, he’s probably drinking beers in local pub.

Kai Pala

Artist, Programmer

Portrait of Kai Pala

Originally from Spain, now smelling the same Brno air as the rest of us for quite a few years. A creator with a voice as deep as a reactor core hum and a love for anything loud, fast, and dangerous. When he’s not sculpting 3D models or wiring gameplay systems together, he’s on a motorbike carving through backroads like he’s escaping a corporate death squad. Obsessed with action, driven by discipline, and built like someone who takes ‘crunch’ a bit too literally, he brings muscle to both the art and the code of European Directive: Silicon Chains.

Hyndoman

Lead Programmer, System Architect

Portrait of Hyndoman

A professional game developer with code and architecture skills sharp enough to cut through steel. In Unity, he moves like someone who’s spent a lifetime mapping its internal organs — every system, every quirk, every dark corner. Hyndoman is a certified code butcher: fast, precise, and completely unafraid to tear apart anything that doesn’t perform. When he’s not dissecting gameplay logic or optimizing the impossible, he’s at home with his cats, the only creatures that can slow him down for more than five minutes.

What We Stand For

Our Mission

European Directive: Silicon Chains exists to prove that small teams can still build worlds with big souls. Our mission is to craft a dystopian European future wrapped in a retro-inspired isometric style — a place where nostalgia meets ruthless corporate control, and every corner hides a story worth digging into. We want players to feel like they’ve stepped into a forgotten era of gaming, rebuilt with modern systems, tight mechanics, and atmosphere thick enough to choke on. If we can make you question the world you’re exploring — and maybe your own — then we’ve done our job.

How We Work

We keep it simple: three founders, a growing circle of collaborators, and a workflow powered by stubbornness, caffeine, and too many ideas. Our process mixes hand-built 3D models with a pixel-infused visual identity, custom Unity tools, and code systems engineered to survive even our worst decisions. Everyone on the team wears multiple hats — some practical, some on fire — and communication is fast, honest, and sometimes brutally direct. We build features the old-school way: iterate, test, break everything, fix everything, repeat. Creativity first, ego last.
