The Game

Brno, 1973. Five years ago WasserStröm & Murphy Industries shot a nuclear war out of the sky, then fed a starving continent from its own farms and took Europe as payment. The United Federation of Europe is barely three years old and the Corporation is still tightening its grip: daylight kills without protection, knowledge is licensed, and the first executions for collaboration are already history. Between the corporate towers, the crater and the black market, there is always work for people who don’t ask questions.

You lead a squad of mercenaries taking the jobs nobody else will. A run is a campaign across the city’s regions: choose where to go, finish every mission there, spend what you earned on the Black Market and hope your people come back in one piece. They rarely come back unchanged.

Mechanics

  • Two modes, one mission. Explore in real time, then drop into turn-based combat the moment your squad crosses into hostile ground.
  • Movement and Action Points. Every merc gets a movement pool and an action pool each turn. Reposition first, then act: the first action closes movement. Sprint trades actions for distance.
  • Hold. Watch a cone and react when an enemy steps into it: take the shot or pull back.
  • Suppression. Volume of fire matters. Enough near-misses and hits and a unit is suppressed: shorter range, worse odds.
  • Scars. Every merc has three scar slots. Win a mission and choose a new scar, one offered openly and one hidden. Some make your mercs stronger, some make them strange, most do both.
  • Runs and the Black Market. Objectives earn Reputation; spend it between missions on weapons, utilities, ammunition and new hires. Fail a mission and the run is over. Only your Hero keeps their scars and gear.
  • Fire and destruction. Molotovs, flamethrowers and explosives set the ground ablaze and tear the map apart. Cover is only cover until something blows it up.
  • Arena. Take your squad online and fight another player head to head.
